Who we are

MoonPhase Solutions is a software development studio operating this website at moonphasesolutions.in. For anything in this policy, including requests about your data, contact us at moonphasesolutions@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you contact us

If you use our contact form we collect the name, email address, and message you enter, plus company and budget range if you choose to provide them. Our server also records the IP address and browser user-agent of the submission, which we use to detect and block automated spam.

If you email us directly instead, we hold whatever you put in that email, in our mailbox.

We use this only to respond to your enquiry and to carry out any work that follows from it. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without you asking us to.

When you browse the site

This site does not currently run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and sets no cookies of its own while you browse.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run remarketing, and we do not track you across other websites.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies.

Third parties that process data

We keep this list short on purpose. These are the only services that receive any data relating to your visit:

• Vercel — hosts this website and processes server logs, including IP addresses, as part of serving pages.
• Google Fonts — this site loads its typefaces from Google's font servers, which means your browser makes a request to Google and Google receives your IP address as part of it.
• Resend — delivers the notification email we receive when you submit the contact form. Your enquiry content passes through it.
• Our own database — contact enquiries are stored in a Postgres database we control, readable only by authenticated administrators.

Where data is stored

Our infrastructure and the third parties above may store and process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that involves transferring personal data out of the European Economic Area, those providers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

• Contact enquiries — kept while we are in conversation and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we have a record of prior discussions. Removed sooner on request.
• Server logs — retained by our hosting provider on their own short rolling schedule.

Legal basis

Where the GDPR applies to you, we rely on:

• Legitimate interests — responding to an enquiry you sent us, keeping the site secure, and understanding in aggregate how the site is used.
• Contract — where we are working with you, processing needed to deliver that work.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, and under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete it
• Provide a copy in a portable format
• Stop processing it, or object to processing based on legitimate interests

Email moonphasesolutions@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Contact enquiries are stored in a database that requires authentication to read, administrator passwords are hashed, and access is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not collect payment details or sensitive personal data through this website at all.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we handle enquiry data will be noted here.
