What made this hard
Play-to-earn systems live or die on their economics. Token flows, reward rates, and tournament payouts needed to be modelled before deployment, because smart contract logic cannot be quietly patched after the fact.
Our approach
How we built it
- Designed and implemented smart contracts covering NFT game assets, reward distribution, and tournament settlement, with test coverage across the economic edge cases rather than the happy path alone.
- Built the Web3 application layer so wallet connection, asset ownership, and tournament entry read as ordinary product flows instead of raw blockchain interactions.
- Structured tournaments to settle on-chain, so results and payouts are verifiable by participants rather than taken on trust.
